Cooperstown Twin Pines Cottages

Side by side duplex facilities available for you, Twin Pines #1 and Twin Pines #2.

Twin Pines #1 has three bedrooms (2 rooms with queens and 1 room with a set of twins, sleeps 6) and Twin Pines #2 has one bedroom (a queen in the bedroom and a daybed in the family room, which opens into a set of twins, sleeps 4). The cottage is cheerful and well equipped. The furniture is comfortable and electric heat will keep the chill away. There is a porch that runs the entire length of the cottage, allowing you to enjoy a great view of the lake.

The cottage is a housekeeping unit, rented by the week, Friday to Friday during our season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) . This is a wonderful place to enjoy your visit to the Cooperstown area. The cottage is well equipped. We supply all bed linens, towels, and kitchen supplies. We do ask that you bring your own beach towels. There is a picnic table and gas grill.

Weekly and weekends are available after Labor Day with a 2 night minimum stay required; rate dependent upon the number of guests.

This property ran as a resort for over 60 years. In 1984 a group of friends purchased the property as an association. As a group we own 12 acres of land, 650 feet of lake frontage. There is a NYS approved swimming beach, (no lifeguard) with a diving board and a raft to swim to. The shoreline is gradual, so it is great for the small fry. The owners bring in sand each year, but the bottom is gravel, so they recommend that children use swimmies. There is a fire pit at the beachfront where everyone can gather for a campfire. The wood is provided.

Twin Pines is located in The Hyde Bay Colony, which is 6 miles from the Village of Cooperstown, on County Route 31. The sunsets are spectacular!
